
As performer, Nora has acted on stage in productions directed by Erica Fae, Paul Bargetto, Raquel Cion, Karin Coonrod, and Kate Whoriskey, among many others. She toured extensively with the Drama Desk Award-winning, Charlie Victor Romeo and co-starred in the film version of the same play (Sundance Film Festival, Netflix release). Most recent film includes Amman Abbasi and Amatus-sami Karim's Simple Somewhere Else (post-production Spring 2025). She is a former body double for Anne Hathaway. On TV, reporter (recurring) for news magazine show First Cut (NBC). Voice over includes narration, commercial and video game content for Atari, MTV, NBC, US Army, and Yahoo!Screen.
As writer, Nora’s episodic TV drama, co-written and created with her brother, George, was optioned and developed by HBO and Executive Produced by Know Wonder. Her multi-character solo play, Hip, was nominated for two New York Innovative Theater Awards and received glowing critical praise. She is co-recipient of the NYIT Award for Best Short Play along with Kim Katzberg and Raquel Cion, also included in "The Best American Short Plays" anthology. Other original work has been presented by HERE, Ars Nova, BAX, The Brick, Catch Series, and PS 122.
Nora is full-time faculty at Pace University’s Sands College of Performing Arts and associate faculty at The New School of Drama and NYU's Experimental Theater Wing. She studied psychophysical acting with Stephen Wangh and Raina von Waldenburg and was a teaching apprentice to Erica Fae at Yale.
